Co-Chairperson Marilyn Welch
Marilyn Welch was elected Co-Chairperson at 2009 Forum and re elected at 2011 Forum. She is currently Minister at St Mary's Cooperating Parish Glen Innes
Co-Chairperson David Dittmer
David was elected Co-Chairperson at the "Beyond the Walls Forum 2011" held in Motueka September 2011.
David was born 2 November 1935 into a Church of Christ family. Educated at Raetihi, Newtown, Clyde Quay and Lyall Bay Scools and the Wellington Technical College. On moving to Lyall Bay went to the Methodist Sunday School as Church of Christ was too far away. Spent seven years as a motor mechanic and then changed to Automotive Parts. Moved to Dunedin 1958 and married a Presbyterian girl. Attended North East Valley Presbyterian Church and ordained as an elder about 1967. Spent years 1971-1974 in Gore and on return to Dunedin went to St Clair Presbyterian Church where he remained until retiring to Alexandra 2003. 2001-2003 was clerk of Dunedin Presbytery. Currently treasurer of Alexandra Clyde Lauder Parish, treasurer of the Southern Presbytery. Member of the Alexandra Community House Trust and still working 20 hours a week at the local Super Market.
David has two sons, both in the North Island and two Grandsons. David remarried in 1984 and his wife (Beryl) has three sons and two daughters all grown up with families. Beryl is Parish Clerk of Alexandra Clyde Lauder Parish.
Executive Officer - Peter MacKenzie
Peter was appointed as Executive Officer in January 2008. He has been a parish minister for over 20 years, serving in Cheviot, Rosetown (in Saskatechewan, Canada), Oamaru and Johnsonville. Peter takes great delight in leading worship and his background in community drama is definitely noticeable. He is enthusiastic about story-telling and believes that congregations need to find new ways of telling the story of Christ to their communities.
