231 General principles

231.1 Diversity

Ordained ministers and worship committees will give proper consideration to the forms and traditions of worship of the Partners with particular regard to the ministry of Word and Sacraments.

231.2 Unity

Members will be encouraged to share together in all forms, orders and occasions of worship. Members may attend and participate in the sacramental services conducted by ministers of the Partners.

231.3 Consultation

a) Ministers shall remain in full consultation with and pay close attention to the views of the Partners.

b) Where it is desired for an ordained minister other than those appointed to the parish to conduct a baptism, marriage or funeral within the parish of a member, arrangements can proceed only after consultation with a minister of the parish.
